I am always hesitant to buy any pants or shorts online, I have a pretty big butt and smaller waist and things often don't fit well, or I have to get a weird size. These fit like a g*d*mn DREAM! I ordered for my waist size and these shorts hold my big' ol butt just perfectly. The waist is fitted but not at all squeezy. Also--functional big deep pockets?? Perfection. I ordered these in two colors, they came in the mail last week and I've literally worn them 5 out of the last 7 days.

I had a pair of submarine yellow shorts about 6 years ago that got ruined by me washing a blue pen in the wash with them. I never found that color/size/brand again so when I saw the yellow Sammie's, I knew I had to buy! And they don't disappoint! The color is brilliant and the fit and texture is sublime! They are perfect summer shorts here in So Cal, or when I go on vacation!
I love the fit of these shorts! They make my legs and butt look great! The material is quality and the styling is perfect. If I had to vent about something, I'd say that I wish the red was a little bit more cherry red as opposed to the burnt red, but that is so minor. I can't wait to buy the long pants!
Well, it’s true what they say - size down!
I’m between waist sizes, and based my sizing decision on the hip measurements. They fit, but are baggy in the tush and don’t give that flattering silhouette that I was looking for. Being 98% cotton I’m nervous to exchange for the size down and have it be too small after washing, and haven’t found any reference to them being pre-shrunk. The quality though - undeniably excellent.
I ordered a 28. Typically I am a 4/6 or 27. For reference:

As soon as I saw this suit I had to have it. I agonized over sizing because I have a fairly curvy figure and while I usually wear a small or medium (4/6 in pants) I find myself ordering large or even extra large in bathing suit bottoms to fit my hips and bum. I decided to go with a medium for the top and the bottom. The top fits great. The bottom fits well, except for the leg opening being a little bit tight. While minor, I hate the visible squeeze at the leg opening, but I know that a large will be way too large. These also have a lot of stretch! The reversible-ness means that the darts are pretty visible and almost cause a bagging effect on the top, but the stripes hide it well enough. For reference I am:
