Women's Bell Bottom

Update to my previous review from November, I was able to exchange these for a 30 and they fit sooooo perfect!!! I would still 100% recommend sizing down, even the 30s have some give in the waist but they fit perfectly around my hips/legs. They have stretch so don’t worry about them being tight. Hammies was super helpful and easy to communicate with in regards to the exchange and I’m so thankful they were able to help me out!

I’m sad that I didn’t size down though…
I think it’s important to know where the waist is on these.. they are very forgiving… and they are slightly longer than the plum colored pair..if I didn’t want to let them out of my sight.. I’d try returning for a 28…🤣

I was a little wary of buying these bell bottoms at first, due to some of the negative reviews and the fact that they were final sale. Much to my surprise, these were not only even brighter in person (I purchased the yellow), but they also fit me perfectly! As a 122 lb, 5'5" inch woman with a small waist and very wide hips, sizing up to a 28 instead of buying a 26 was the right decision. These keep me warm in the currently cold weather and generate so many compliments!

I love the way these pants look online, so I was excited for my pair to come! I wanted to be precise about sizing, so I measured myself. My waist measurement came to 27", and the site said to order a size down, so I ordered a size 26 (which is also my size in my other pair of pants). I think they would have fit at the waist, but they were WAY too small in the thigh/ butt area. I exchanged them for a size up, and now they're too big in the waist but still wayyyy too tight in the thigh/ butt area, which means they don't rise to my waist and look very odd from the back. Certainly disappointing, it seems to me like the pants were designed only for people with a more rectangular build and not for those with curves.

The pants are well-constructed and look like they do in the photos, so it's not like they're "bad pants" by any stretch of the imagination. But it is disheartening that they are not constructed for bodies like mine (this is the first time I've encountered a fit issue like this in several years). I'm unsure if I should keep them or return them, but I also know my Uniqlo flared cords work much better for me.

I wouldn’t call it a plum more of lilac. Which feels less winter and more of a spring color. Also wish they had hem options I’ll have to pay to get them hemmed.

The reviews were varied so I actually measured myself and got a 32 like I measure and they are huge on me. I’m hoping I can exchange but I don’t think I’ll be able to. Please size down! These go a little higher than belly button so measure there. They are so cute I will probably get them tailored if I can’t exchange.
